With dark fruit flavours and remarkable energy, it is crafted from multiple plots of 40-year-old Mencía vines.

The region's winemaking heritage dates back to the Roman era, and Pedro Rodríguez is fortunate to work with a treasure trove of old-vine varieties including Mencía, Sousón, Brancellao, Merenzao, and Caiño. Through dedication and hard work, he brings out the unmistakable vitality of this terroir, resulting in wines that are undeniably delicious.

Pedro's approach to winemaking is natural: he uses organically farmed grapes, fermented with a high proportion of whole clusters in open-top vats, without temperature control or additives. The wines are bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with only a minimal addition of sulphur.
