Domaine Ledogar Corbieres La Compagnon 2020

This blend originates from a vineyard with a unique combination of clay-limestone, sandstone, and red clay soils adjacent to a pine forest. Comprising 80% Syrah, with 10% Carignan and Grenache each, the grapes are hand-picked and fermented in open-top concrete tanks. After pressing, the wine is aged in concrete vats with no added sulphur. It undergoes two to three rackings during aging and is lightly filtered, with a minimal sulfur dosage of less than 20 mg/L.

This medium-bodied wine features aromas of black plum, earthy notes, olive tapenade, and minerals. It offers fine tannins, bright acidity, and exceptional balance, standing out in a region known for producing excessively bold wines.
